In 2022 J.D. Carson partnered with his longtime friend/mentor Chase Smith (e.g., of the Smith Brothers) noted for discovering, developing, and producing Universal’s first rap artist “A+”. Smith is most notable for helping artists producers such as Buddha Bless This Beat secure a deal with Sony/ATV and aiding new comer Lil TAG (14-year old producer secure his firm major placement with Megan Thee Stallions, as well as several other major artists). Both Buddha Bless and Lil Tag are Smith’s nephews. 

Smith is also noted for working with 50 Cent, Raekwon, Prodigy of Mobb Deep, GhostFace, Chico DeBarge, Joe, Q-Tip, David Banner, AZ, and more. Smith is the owner of The Stake Holders Team, a management/consulting firm in Atlanta, GA.

Coined by Smith as SH2, the newly entered partnership between Safe House Music Studios and The Stakeholders Team gave birth to Safe House Music Group (founded in 2022). SH2 is a full service entertainment company nestled in the trenches of Dayton, Ohio (e.g., city know for it’s rich history in music) with an office in Atlanta, GA as well. Safe Holders is a full service company that brokers producers and songwriters for placements with major record labels, film, television, and advertising placements. Safe Holders is a full service entertainment company offering professional song production, songwriting, imaging, branding strategies, song-writing camps, artist development, and online music production tutorials.
